The assessment
90 Minutes | In-Depth Movement & Postural Analysis
At NorthFla. Biomechanics, we don't believe in guessing. Our comprehensive assessment is designed to identify movement limitations, postural compensations, and potential contributors to your pain.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Comprehensive Client History: Review of previous injuries, surgeries, chronic pain, lifestyle, athletic background, and personal goals.
3D Moti Physio Postural Scan: A non-invasive, radiation-free assessment that provides a detailed 3D visualization of your posture, skeletal alignment estimates, and potential muscular imbalances.
Postural Analysis: Evaluation of spinal alignment, pelvic positioning, shoulder mechanics, hip stability, and overall structural positioning.
Gait Analysis: Assessment of how your body moves while walking, identifying asymmetries, compensations, and limitations throughout the kinetic chain.
Breathing Mechanics & Pressure Management: Introduction to diaphragmatic breathing, abdominal pressure regulation, and foundational core engagement.
Postural Restoration: Hands-on introduction to improving alignment, establishing stability, and learning how to hold and control your body in space.
Individualized Training Direction: Review of our findings to establish a personalized starting point for your biomechanics training.
OUR GOAL: To understand not just where you're experiencing pain, but what movement dysfunctions may be contributing to it—so we can begin building a stronger, more efficient body from the ground up.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR FIRST 1–6 MONTHS
A Progressive, Individualized Approach to Human Biomechanics
Over the course of your training, we progressively address movement dysfunctions, restore stability, build strength, and improve how your body functions as one connected system.
YOUR TRAINING INCLUDES:
Breathing & Pressure Management: Establishing proper diaphragmatic breathing, abdominal pressure, and foundational core stability.
Postural Restoration: Addressing compensations, improving alignment, and learning how to hold your body efficiently in space.
Myofascial Release: Addressing areas of restricted movement and improving tissue mobility.
Joint Stability & Mobility: Improving control and range of motion throughout the hips, knees, spine, and shoulders.
Muscular Integration: Reconnecting the body's muscular chains to improve coordination, stability, and force distribution.
Gait & Movement Correction: Improving walking mechanics, weight distribution, balance, and movement efficiency.
Rotational & Multiplanar Training: Developing strength and control through all three planes of motion.
Progressive Strength Training: Introducing resistance, leverage, and loading while maintaining proper mechanics.
Functional & Athletic Performance: Applying improved movement patterns to everyday activities, recreational exercise, and athletic demands.
Continued Progress Tracking: Reassessing movement, posture, strength, and functional improvements throughout your training.
OUR OBJECTIVE
Reduce pain. Restore movement. Build strength. Improve longevity.
Whether your goal is to move without chronic discomfort, return to your sport, or simply feel confident in your body again, every session is designed to move you toward lasting improvements.
This isn't traditional personal training. It's a complete approach to rebuilding how your body moves, functions, and performs.
Every client's progression is individualized based on their assessment, physical capabilities, and response to training.
