Biomechanics Specialist

Jackie Edwards - Owner + Biomechanics Specialist

Jackie’s journey into biomechanics began with her own experience overcoming chronic pain. As a Type 1 diabetic and former competitive athlete, she spent years navigating physical limitations, recurring injuries, and autoimmune challenges before discovering Biomechanics.

After experiencing firsthand how addressing movement dysfunction could transform her quality of life, Jackie found a new purpose: helping others reclaim control of their bodies.

Now a Human Biomechanics Specialist and founder of NorthFla. Biomechanics, Jackie is passionate about identifying the underlying causes of chronic pain rather than simply managing symptoms. Her work focuses on restoring functional movement, improving long-term physical resilience, and helping individuals overcome limitations they once believed were permanent.

Her mission is simple: Help people stop living around their pain and start living beyond it.

Ryan Connolly - Human Biomechanics SPecialist

Ryan’s approach to biomechanics is rooted in understanding how the human body is designed to move, adapt, and function as an integrated system. His focus extends beyond building strength in the gym to developing efficient, resilient movement patterns that translate into everyday life.

As a Human Biomechanics Specialist, Ryan believes chronic pain, tension, and physical limitations are often signals of underlying movement dysfunctions that deserve attention rather than being ignored or pushed through.

Through individualized training, postural restoration, and corrective movement strategies, Ryan works to identify contributing factors to discomfort, improve movement efficiency, and help clients build lasting strength and stability.

His mission goes beyond temporary relief or short-term results. Ryan is dedicated to helping people regain confidence in their bodies, move with purpose, and build the physical resilience needed for a lifetime of movement.

Charlotte Gallagher - Human Biomechanics Specialist

Charlotte’s approach to biomechanics centers on identifying the underlying movement dysfunctions that contribute to chronic pain, postural imbalances, and physical limitations. She believes meaningful, long-term change begins with understanding how the body functions as an interconnected system rather than treating individual symptoms in isolation.

As a Human Biomechanics Specialist, Charlotte emphasizes precise movement execution, individualized corrective strategies, and client education. Her attention to detail and commitment to clear communication help clients understand how their posture, movement patterns, and daily habits influence their overall function.

Through intentional training and progressive movement restoration, Charlotte works to improve structural alignment, build functional strength, and develop more efficient movement patterns that extend beyond the gym.

Her mission is to empower clients with the knowledge, confidence, and physical resilience to move beyond their limitations and create lasting change in how their bodies feel and function.

Skyler Smith - Human Foundations practitioner

Skyler’s passion for biomechanics is driven by his commitment to continuous learning, personal growth, and helping others unlock their full athletic potential. As an active surfer and athlete, he understands firsthand how chronic pain and movement limitations can interfere with performance and everyday life.

After experiencing his own physical challenges, Skyler pursued biomechanics as a way to improve his movement, address his pain, and build a stronger, more resilient body.

With a particular passion for athletic development, Skyler believes exceptional performance begins with mastering the fundamentals. His approach emphasizes foundational movement mechanics, coordination, stability, and progressive strength to help athletes develop the physical tools necessary for long-term success.

Through his own training and active lifestyle, Skyler continues to apply what he learns while educating clients on the importance of understanding how their bodies function.

His mission is to help individuals build a strong foundation, move beyond physical limitations, and develop the confidence, strength, and resilience needed to perform at their highest potential.

Lindsey Chappell - Human Foundation Practitioner

Lindsey’s passion for human movement stems from her own experience overcoming years of sports-related injuries and chronic pain. As a competitive athlete, she understands firsthand how movement dysfunction can impact performance, recovery, and overall quality of life.

Currently pursuing her degree in Kinesiology, Lindsey continues to expand her knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and athletic performance, combining her academic education with hands-on experience in corrective movement training.

Lindsey focuses on teaching proper movement mechanics early in athletic development. She believes building a strong foundation of coordination, stability, and efficient movement is essential for improving performance, reducing injury risk, and supporting long-term athletic success.

Her mission is to help individuals, especially the next generation of athletes, build resilient bodies, move with confidence, and develop the physical foundation needed for lifelong performance and health.
